What is ReliefAgad?
A new mobile application, called ReliefAgad, now provides the recipients of Social Amelioration Program (SAP) an efficient, transparent and contactless payout of emergency subsidies. Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), along with Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the developers of Connect Philippines developed and launched ReliefAgad. This introduces a way where recipients of SAP can register to their Local Government Units (LGUs) and DSWD in the comfort of their own homes. By streamlining their processes with this mobile application, we can expect an efficient, organized and speedy distribution in the second tranche of SAP.
Am I Qualified to Register in ReliefAgad?
If you are unsure whether you are qualified or not, having a Social Amelioration Card should suffice enough. Citizens who are qualified are pre-identified by the local government and was given the card. The qualifications of the assistance are based under the Emergency Subsidy Program ESP of the SAP. How Do I Register?
Please follow the steps below to learn how to register.
Step 1. Visit www.reliefagad.ph using your smartphone.
Step 2. Scan the barcode of your SAC card/form. If you cannot scan your barcode, there is a link below for manual entry (you will be asked to enter your SAC number instead). If an error or invalid message appears, it means that you are already registered in the system or have a photocopied SAC form. Every barcode should be unique, so if you encounter this error kindly contact your local barangay official for help.
Step 3. Enter the needed information provided in the page. You will be asked to provide personal information including your name, gender, birthday, address, IDs, sector and health condition. You will also be asked to provide personal information of your family members. Here is a list of IDs you may provide:
- Driver’s license
- Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) ID or any certification of membership from the organization or barangay
- Employment ID, kasambahay ID, or certification of employment.
- Certification of separation from or suspension of work from employer
- Proof of business, or any other proof showing employment, occupation or enterprise
- Any ID or certification from the Department of Agriculture (DA) or any agencies under it
- Certification from the barangay
- Certification from the National Council on Indigenous People (NCIP) or the tribal chieftain/council of elders from Indigenous People (IP)
Please note to include all of your family members. The first two members you include will be your alternative representative when receiving the cash assistance.
Step 4. Provide your preferred option in receiving cash assistance. You may receive it through PayMaya, GCash or bank account. You may also receive it directly to your account.
Step 5. An OTP code will be sent to your smartphone. Once receiving the OTP code, kindly enter it and submit your SAC
Is my SAC Automatically Approved Upon Registration?
Unfortunately, no. DSWD would need to process each registration by cross checking with other programs to avoid duplicate cash assistance benefits. If you are a part of programs such as Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) or any others then you may not be approved for SAP cash relief.
When do I Receive My Cash Assistance?
The schedules of cash relief will be announced by your LGU or DSWD.
